Okay: I have been a bit obsessed lately with the 1893 World's Columbian Exposition aka the 1893 Chicago World's Fair. Finished reading The Devil in the White City and both of us just finished watching a documentary on the Expo. Now we both have been looking at different objects that were sold at the fair on ebay. This is a season pass.

Devil In The White City is awesome. I don't know if I've ever read anything else that so perfectly exmeplified humankind's capacity for greatness and wonder, as well as humankind's capacity for depravity. My favorite element of the story had to be George Ferris and the creation of the ferris wheel (Either that or aprtment/hotels with built in gas cahmbers).
What is the name of the documentary you watched? I'd really like to see it.
